MoneyBar Makes Dough with Cobs Bread
Vancouver, BC - April 24, 2006 - MoneyBar Technologies Inc., a leader in innovative electronic payment, stored value, and marketing transaction solutions, announces its 25th installation in the Cobs Bread chain of bakeries coinciding with the launch of Cobs entry into the Greater Toronto, Ontario market.
The Company has just completed its first four stages of its highly successful card program for Cobs Bread that includes:
- The launch of the Cobs ‘Dough Card’ prepaid stored value card that can be purchased as a Gift Card or personal use Convenience Card. Cash and credit card payments are reduced to simplify and speed service at the point of sale.

An automatic, paper-free method of operating dozens of independent fundraising programs, where schools, churches and sports teams' members make purchases on their ‘Dough Card’ and a percentage of these purchase is automatically returned to their chosen recipient organization.
- The launch of the Cobs ‘Bread Winner’ Loyalty Program. This ingenious program allows all Cobs ‘Dough Card’ cardholders to earn points toward free products and cash incentives. With no paper cards to punch or stamp, nor recordkeeping required, this fully automatic loyalty system provides instant notice to cardholders once they reach specified points thresholds and produce on-the-spot Reward Coupons granting cardholders free products and even cash value on their Cobs ‘Dough Card’.
